The following fees apply to new nanny searches commencing on or after 30 November 2026.

We take the time to understand your family's individual needs, lifestyle and expectations before carefully sourcing and selecting candidates who we believe are genuinely suited to your household.
Our fees reflect the experience, professional recruitment and personalised attention that goes into finding more than a match — the right fit.
Permanent Nanny Recruitment
Registration & Search Fee — $250
A $250 non-refundable Registration & Search Fee is payable before we commence your nanny search.
The Registration & Search Fee is credited in full towards your applicable Placement Fee upon successful placement and is not an additional charge.
It covers the initial consultation, preparation of your role and commencement of our candidate search and recruitment process.
Permanent Placement Fees
1–2 days per week
$1,6503 days per week
$1,9504–5 days per week / under 40 hours
$2,450Full-Time Career Nanny / 40+ hours per week
$2,750
Eligible permanent placements include our 8-Week Replacement Guarantee, subject to the terms, eligibility requirements and exclusions contained in our Client Agreement.
Before and After School Nannies
Placement Fee — $1,050
For families requiring regular assistance with school mornings, afternoon care, school transport, extracurricular activities, homework, meals and children's routines.
The $250 Registration & Search Fee is credited towards the Placement Fee.
Eligible Before & After School placements include our 8-Week Replacement Guarantee, subject to our Client Agreement.
Weekend Nannies
Placement Fee — from $950
For families requiring regular weekend support, whether live-in or live-out.
Weekend requirements can vary considerably depending on the hours, frequency, responsibilities and experience required. A final Placement Fee will be confirmed before recruitment commences.
Eligible Weekend Nanny placements include our 8-Week Replacement Guarantee, subject to our Client Agreement.
Executive & Private Household Recruitment
Placement Fees — from $3,500
Our tailored recruitment service is available for families seeking highly experienced or specialist candidates, including:
Executive & Career Nannies
Nanny / Household Managers
Governesses
Family Assistants
Newborn Care Specialists
Other specialist private household appointments
Fees are quoted individually according to the requirements and complexity of the position.
Temporary Nanny Care
Daily Booking Fee
$35 per day
Short-Notice Booking Fee
$50 per day for bookings requested with less than 24 hours' notice
Monthly Temporary Booking Fee
$400 per month for ongoing temporary bookings. Replaces the standard daily booking fee for the applicable booking period (up to 3 months).
Nanny remuneration is paid separately by the family.
Extended temporary placements or requirements outside our standard temporary service may be individually quoted.
International & Travel Nannies
Whether you require a nanny to accompany your family interstate or overseas, Nounou Recruit can source experienced candidates suited to the particular requirements of travelling with children.

Nanny Rates
Nanny remuneration is separate from Nounou Recruit's agency fees.
Nanny rates vary depending on experience, qualifications, responsibilities, hours and the individual requirements of the position.
Experienced Nannies — generally from $40 per hour
Specialist, executive, newborn, travel and household management positions may attract higher rates.
Families are responsible for ensuring their engagement of a nanny complies with applicable employment, taxation, superannuation and workplace obligations.
Our 8-Week Replacement Guarantee
We understand how important it is to feel confident in your nanny placement.
Eligible permanent placements are supported by our 8-Week Replacement Guarantee, providing additional peace of mind following placement.
The Replacement Guarantee is subject to the eligibility requirements, conditions and exclusions contained in the Nounou Recruit Client Agreement.
