Nanny Applicant Criteria

To maintain our industry-leading reputation, we uphold high professional standards. All Nounou Recruit candidates must demonstrate:

✔ Legal Work Rights in Australia
✔ Minimum 2 years’ professional nanny experience (full-time or consistent part-time)
✔ Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practice
✔ Current Paediatric First Aid & CPR
✔ Outstanding, recent references
✔ Willingness to commit to long-term placements (minimum 12 months unless negotiated)
✔ Confidence managing child-related household duties
✔ Ability to pass comprehensive background screening
✔ Professional presentation and discretion
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
