Our Story
Nounou Recruit was founded on a simple belief: finding the right person to care for your family should be a process built on trust, discretion and genuine expertise.
Our story began in 2012 as Nightingale Place, providing personalised nanny and newborn care recruitment for families in Brisbane and beyond.
Behind the agency is decades of hands-on experience working with families in Australia and internationally, caring for children from the newborn stage through the early years and understanding first-hand what makes a nanny-family relationship truly work.
That experience is complemented by a multidisciplinary background spanning child development, psychology, nursing and paediatric care, bringing a deeper understanding to both the practical and personal considerations involved in every placement.
In 2026, the agency evolved into Nounou Recruit — a name and identity that better reflects the service we provide today: considered, professional recruitment for families seeking exceptional people for their homes.
