For that reason, we are selective about the candidates we represent and every applicant completes our screening and interview process before being considered for Nounou Recruit positions.
To register with Nounou Recruit, you will generally need:
A minimum of 2 years' professional nanny experience
A current Blue Card
Current Paediatric First Aid & CPR
Australian working rights appropriate to the position
Recent, contactable professional references
A genuine commitment to professional childcare
Strong communication, reliability and discretion
For infant and newborn positions, we generally seek candidates with at least 5 years' relevant experience and demonstrated experience caring for babies.
Qualifications in early childhood, education, nursing or related fields are highly regarded.

What Can I Expect to Earn?
Nanny remuneration varies depending on experience, qualifications, responsibilities, schedule and the requirements of the individual position.
As a general guide, experienced professional nanny positions recruited through Nounou Recruit are generally from $40 per hour, with specialist, newborn, travel and household management positions potentially attracting higher rates.
